FAQs

When should I contact you to book my maternity session?

Most clients reach out to book their maternity session shortly after entering their 2nd trimester. Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 30-36 weeks. Recognizing that babies have their own sense of timing, I usually avoid booking sessions after 36 weeks. However, if you're at the 36-week mark and eager to book, please don't hesitate to send me an email promptly. I'll make every effort to accommodate your session and capture these special moments for you.

Do you have a client closet?

I've got you covered, both figuratively and literally! The client closet boasts an extensive array of robes, gowns, dresses, and even bodysuits that you can utilize for your session. Peek at the collection here to explore a variety of carefully selected pieces curated by yours truly. Fun fact – a significant portion of the client closet is made by me, and I'm continually adding new pieces to keep things fresh. Can't spot exactly what you're looking for? No worries! Shoot me an email, and let's make sure you have the perfect ensemble for your session. Your comfort and style matter!

can we include my significant other and child(ren) during the session?

A maternity session extends beyond capturing the expectant mom; it encapsulates the entire family embracing the arrival of a new bundle of joy. I actively encourage clients to include their partners, and children are invited to join the session. During the sessions, we'll beautifully capture the entire family together, followed by individual shots to highlight each unique connection within the family. It's a celebration of this precious moment for the whole family.

Should I have my hair and makeup done for the session?

While not mandatory, booking a professional hair and makeup artist can enhance the quality of your photoshoot. They are trained to create camera-friendly looks that complement your features. Ultimately, the decision depends on your preferences and comfort level with doing your own hair and makeup. The goal is for you to feel confident and enjoy the experience, whether you choose professional assistance or opt to DIY.

Studio or Location shoot

Clients can choose between on-location or studio sessions for their photo shoot. Studio sessions are available during daytime hours, while outdoor sessions are scheduled in the evening for optimal lighting. If you prefer an outdoor shoot but are undecided on the location, no worries—I have a curated list of fantastic locations that will complement your session and vision perfectly.

Do you offer packages for maternity and newborn sessions?

Yes, indeed! When clients schedule both maternity and newborn sessions, a discount is applied to the newborn session.
